Guided Outrides @ KEC in Kimberley

Private and Group Outrides

For beginners on 80 hectare field with no game, and for more experience riders, on a neighbouring game farm.

Livery Services @ KEC in Kimberley

Full Livery includes all daily care, feeding, mucking out, turn out, and rug changes

We provide a full livery service in the Kimberley area, with stabling capacity for 60 horses, plus an additional 35 Show stables. All stables are of sturdy brick construction with wooden doors, bedded generously with shavings. Horses are cared for by our team of well-trained, dedicated grooms.

During the day horses stand out in spacious individual or group paddocks where they can stretch their legs and enjoy plenty of fresh air. The extensive paddock time (up to 10 hours in summer and 8 in winter) helps to foster a relaxed, happy attitude among the horses. Horses are groomed every weekday and temperatures are taken every morning as an early warning of ill health.

We understand that all horses have different requirements. Horses are thus cared for in accordance with each horse’s individual needs. We feed a combination of Lucerne and Teff according to each owner’s specification. Roughage is divided into three feeds a day. Because of the high feed value of the Lucerne, the horses generally require less concentrates. Owners may provide their own concentrates, which is fed mornings and evenings by the grooms.
